Timbuktu Media is a media company based in Lagos, Nigeria announcing a Graduate Management Recruitment Programme.
We are looking for a few good men and women to join us in a national project. We seek to create a space where honest conversation can take place about the direction of our country.
We are building a new kind of Media Company, one that values ethics, integrity and service. We seek the kind of people who are ambitious enough and confident enough to help contribute to this transformative project.
Candidates will be selected to start the comprehensive training programme in July 2008. Personal development, leadership skills and an introductory course in journalism, emphasising best practice, will be taught over a period of 8 weeks, through workshops, seminars and field trips.
Successful candidates will then be selected for the concluding 4-week, on-the-job training, leading to employment. Candidates are encouraged to apply early as the selection process will begin immediately.
