DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited is recruiting a Deputy Adviser (Legal Counsel).

Candidate has a BA / BS and JD or LLB. In addition, at least 5 years relevant legal experience and admission to the bar or an equivalent qualification is required Worley Parsons is considered by management. Exceptional ability to speak and write effectively.

Job Responsibilities

Analysis of legal problems in management. Provides advice and guidance based on research and the acquisition of legal knowledge.
Negotiates and prepares a large number of contracts, agreements and other documents, and prepares related correspondence.
Manages and assists outside counsel in litigation and other issues, or management of these issues and communicates directly with management issues.

Interfaces with various national and foreign, and prepares documents and files, such as registrations and license applications for these bodies.

Manages special projects such as research, documentation of transactions, presentations to various groups, as assigned by the director of contracts and procurement.

May be responsible for a significant part of the practice as a large and complex financial matters, health and safety, insurance issues, environmental issues, or legal functions.
