Technical Officer: Transmission Networks (Enugu)

Goal of the Job:

Ensure that overall Network availability meets Celtel’s Predefined standard

Role Description:

Ensure that the overall network availability meets the preset targets as laid out by Management through efficient resolution of all network faults. Ensure that all preventive, corrective and configuration job orders are duly implemented according to the Job/Work order process. Sending faulty network equipments/Units for repairs and keeping a record of spare stock for the sub-region. Provide actual detailed but concise clearing details to NMC when ever a fault has been cleared.

Requirements for Candidate:

Qualification
Impressive BSC or HND Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering

Experience
1-2 years relevant working experience on Harris Radios, Nera, Ericsson Minilink E, Ericsson Traffic nodes and Siemens Radios.Thorough knowledge of GSM systems.Adequate knowledge of Transmission Network Technologies and systems.

Knowledge of SDH and PDH systems.
Thorough knowledge of BSS systems.
Knowledge of C7 Signaling in GSM Networks.

To assist in effectively managing the Budget process and Business plans of the Company.
Role description:

Annual and Five Year Financial Planning & Budgeting
Accounting, Reporting & Financial Analysis
Budgeting and Forecasting input collation
Board Pack Schedule compilation

Requirement for Candidate:

Qualification

A good university degree in Accountancy or any Business Science course from a reputable university
Part professional qualification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, etc) will be an added advantage

Experience
Minimum of 1 year cognate experience with very good computer skills (especially Microsoft tools – Excel/ PowerPoint)
