Onne Container Terminal is a joint venture terminal where APM Terminals hold the majority share. Onne Container Terminal is located in the Onne Oil and Gas Free Zone and is set up to cater for the greater Port Harcourt area and eastern Nigeria including the local lucrative Oil industry.
Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will be part of the senior management team of WACT, reporting to the Managing Director. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the Finance and Administrative functions, including establishing the Company’s financial objectives and policies.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
•Master Degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines.
• At least eight years experience working in finance related positions.
• At least three years experience working in a senior financial role for a medium to large private sector organization.
• Knowledge of corporate and project financing.
• Knowledge of tax rules and tax reporting requirements.
• Ability to establish or maintain good contacts with lending institutions, the financial community, auditors, advisors and statutory authorities.
• Experience in the control and management of invoicing and dunning.
• belive this would irrelevant with the completion of the project phase.
