-First degree in any field and MBA/Masters Degree will be an added advantage; or an acceptable professional qualification in Banking or Accountancy
-At least 6 years experience in a top financial institution, of which 4 must have been in the banking industry and at least 2 years branch management experience
-Strong credit, marketing and negotiation skills
-Must posses an in-depth knowledge of the business environment, exhibit drive, aggression, passion for business development and acquisition
-Good knowledge of the local community – industries, economic base, culture, key leaders, competitors

The Recruitment and Training Manager (RTM) is responsible for the recruitment process of the division and the equipping of staff with the requisite knowledge required to fulfill their responsibilities. Given the strategic importance of customer service quality to the business, the RTM must be capable of ensuring that only customer-focused and trainable people are recruited to the division. In addition, the RTM shall supervise the training of staff and directly handle a program for continuous customer service quality improvement
