Pilots: First Officers
RESPONSIBILITY
The first officer is to support the Captain during the preparation for and operations of his/her assigned flight. The first officer shall observe the provisions of the Operations manual in general and such provisions of the Operations manual as are necessary to fulfill his function and responsibilities as a first officer.
Assist the Captain in the management of the flight and manipulation of the aircrafts controls in accordance with the directions of the captain who will be guided by the modern principles of flight deck management and interdependence of the flight crew.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants can be both Nigerians and Expatriates
Relevant Pilot License (Nigerian (NCAA), CPL or ATPL)
1500-2000 flying hours (minimum of 1000 flying hours as a pilot)
Captain
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum total time: 5000 hours
Time on jet will be an advantage
License: ATPL
Valid Medical
Co-Pilot
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum total time: 300 hours
Time on jet will be an advantage
License: CPL
Valid Medical
Licensed Flight Dispatcher
RESPONSIBILITY
Joint responsibility with the Pilot in command for the safety and operational control of the flight
Crew briefing and dispatch release
Flight watch
Filling of ATC Flight plan
Prepare Navlogs
Obtain flight clearances
Review and evaluate weather information: METAR, TAFs, NOPTAMS, PIREFs
Administer crew roster
REQUIREMENTS
