Clinical Laboratory Services Division is part of the Medical Services organization and provides laboratory testing on blood and non-blood body specimens to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of disease in the patient.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Performs clinical laboratory testing on blood and other specimens from patients to assist the physician in diagnosis of disease and monitoring of patient's condition. Main functions include processing blood and non-blood specimens, performance of laboratory testing using sophisticated instrumentation, entry of information in the laboratory information system, performance of quality control and proficiency testing, blood collection by venipuncture or capillary puncture, and possibly other related tests such as EKG or Holter Monitoring.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. Four (4) years Medical Laboratory experience, including three (3) years experience in ARAMCO Medical Laboratories. OR B.S. Degree in Medical Technology. Two (2) years Medical Laboratory experience, in ARAMCO Medical Laboratories.
