Adexen is recruiting for its client - a leading company in the oil and gas. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant of the Group head office in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Senior Accountant will assume full responsibility and ownership for all financial, management accounting.
Account the capabilities

* He will be responsible for managing the accounting team.
* It will be necessary to improve the accounting structure and ensure that standards are met.
* It will provide effective financial management for the operations of the Nigerian company in the growth of value and profitability in a sustainable manner.

Disclaimer

* Provide and / or oversee on a daily basis and accounting services and financial management within the school guidelines;
* Provide leadership in the department GHO accounts and coordinate the activities of the treasury and accounting
* Oversee treasury functions including cash daily, monthly bank
* Well versed in cost and budget, finance and accounting and audit;
* Handling of taxation and other legal matters, finalization of accounts and audit;
* Production Weekly, monthly, quarterly management reports;
* Cash flow preparation, budget analysis and variance reports
* Company wise weekly / monthly cash returns and bank books
* Make sure you have financial risk, accounting and auditing policies and procedures of the company;

Qualifications and experience

* Such as the academic qualification HND, BSC
* Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA or
* Preferably at least five years experience in related sectors
* Analysis and control of accounting standards or
* Average or better using Microsoft Excel and Word
* Knowledge of accounting software is essential
* Good knowledge of internal controls and standards for payment procedure
* Good communication skills
* Results of the pragmatic and practical, with an ability to "do the job."
* High integrity of zero tolerance for theft, fraud and / or Indiscretion.
* Fluency in English
